| Langdon Hole deep shelter is an unusual system of tunnels. Inside the tunnels are wider than traditional deep shelters and have extensive ventilation equipment in situ. Langdon hole is a mirror site to the longfield deep shelter and it is believed the site represented a backup for the above ground Swingate communication systems. |
