| This medium sized slate quarry is located close to the village of Corwen in Wales. The site is accessed by an adit in an older open cast section. Once inside you quickly notice the different style of the quarry, it is not as systematic as its larger Blaenau contemporaries. Nevertheless the state of preservation inside the site is good, with carts, tracks and Cabans remaining. However with reports of gas in the furthest reaches of the east vein, care should be taken if visiting. |
