| This medium sized Slate Quarry is located around two miles from the remote village of Cwn Penmachno. This is a particularly interesting slate quarry, with significant above ground remains. It is possible to access the top of the site and work down the main incline exiting far down in the valley below. The site has received significant investment from the mine exploring community, who have fitted ropes throughout the site and even placed laminated signs on the route. It represents an excellent through trip and an interesting site to visit. |
