| This trip was unscheduled, originally planning on a trip to Parc Lead mine, which was cancelled after a hairy incident on the eastern ladder winze. We have visited Cwmorthin many times but were pleasently suprised with the positive work that has been done by the Friends of Cwmorthin group. Exploring further down the Oakley incline we saw sections of the mine we had not visited before. This quarry remains one of the best sites in UK caving. |
